FIELD: oil and gas industry. SUBSTANCE: fire extinguishing device for flowing wells has mobile body 1. The body is a platform with guide 2 for a mobile mechanism. The latter is platform 4. Body 1 has side walls secured on guide 2 and body 1 by means of hinges 7 and drive cylinders 8. Additional swivel gate 9 is secured on ends of the walls. Body 1 is provided with upper sealing cover 12. The cover is mounted for turning round hinge 10. Gate 9 has anchors 14, 15, and 16. The platform of body 1 is provided with cylinder 18. The cylinder has a chamber with an explosive charge. As the chamber is embedded in the ground, the charge is blown up to crush and cover a part of pipe 32 so that the well is no longer flowing, then flame-killing liquid is delivered with the use of guide 2.
