FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: housing accommodates rotor carrying blades and mounted on shaft. Blades are made as swivel plates provided with locks and retainers. Member joins shaft with energy-generating device. Rotor is made as set of impellers having hub that carries parallel rows of radial spokes embraced by rims. Each blades is essentially plate and all of them have common axis of revolution for turning plates of each blade through maximum 90 deg. in opposite directions perpendicular to impeller axis during working stroke and folding towards each other during idle run. Housing is essentially pontoon floor. Rotor is installed in bottom part of housing. Spokes of central rim of each impeller function as axes of revolution of plates. Spokes of extreme rims serve as plate turn retainers for each blade and as locks during working stroke of blade. EFFECT: improved design. 5 cl, 6 dwg
