FIELD: shipbuilding; shipboard propellers. SUBSTANCE: propeller comprises link leverage mechanism made in the form of fixed elongated bearing member and at least two parallel rods connected to support member by means of cross-pieces; rods are mounted on either side from bearing member and are articulated to cross-pieces forming movable parallel link mechanism. On one side, ends of rods are connected with drives setting then in reciprocating motion along bearing member; on opposite end, ends of rods carry device for creating reactive force which is made in the form of bladed wheel with rim and bush fitted on rod for free rotation and radial spokes on which blades are articulated for limited turn which fully overlap cross section of bladed wheel in performing outside working stroke. During working stroke, blades form taper surface with base of cone directed outside. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of propeller in aggressive medium. 2 cl, 4 dwg
