FIELD: cryogenic engineering. SUBSTANCE: cryogenic reservoir has housing, inner vessel placed in housing to form heat- insulating space and cartridge with porous filter permeable to gas and containing chemical hydrogen absorber. Novelty in design of reservoir is that chemical cartridge installed in filter has through porous tubes made of material with high heat factor and space between tubes and walls of filter is filled with chemical absorbent; filter is embraced by heat conducting hermetic sheathing forming vacuum space communicating through vacuum valve with heat-insulating space of cryogenic reservoir. Secured on inner surface of sheathing are thermomechanical members installed for thermal engagement with filter walls, and sheathing is connected through heat-conducting member, for instance heat tube, with heat-absorbing screen. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 dwg
