FIELD: chemical industry; medical equipment; radioelectronics. SUBSTANCE: suspension of fiber of filtering material is prepared. Then working area is filled with, and relief of filtering elements is formed by means of main and additional relief moulds. Before forming, concentrated suspension layer is formed in relief mould. In this case processes of working space filling and relief forming are done simultaneously. To produce multilayer filtering elements, the basic layer of filtering elements is formed. Then additional layer of concentrated suspension is created. Both layers are brought into coincidence, and multilayer filtering element is formed. Device for producing filtering elements has case, basic and additional relief moulds, which hinged. The relief moulds are connected by pipe-lines for removing filtrate with filtrate tank. Device also has swinging cup, intermediate small frame, provided with position fixing units, and/or screw pair for regulating working space between the moulds. EFFECT: improved adaptability to manufacture of relief filtering elements. 7 cl, 15 dwg
