FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: housing of the working hydraulic cylinder is separated into two spaces and provided with two pistons with reverse springs. The spaces are interconnected through the passageway provided with the valving member. The device is provided with auxiliary hydraulic cylinder provided with piston and spring. Both of the spaces of the working cylinder are in communication with the additional passageway through by- pass valves. The space of the auxiliary cylinder is directly connected with the additional passageway. The additional passageway is connected with the valve for removing air. All of the device units are mounted inside the housing and isolated from the ambient. When the clutch is set in operation, in the instance of contact of the lever with the bearing of the coupling clutch, the resistance to its moving increases abruptly. If, initially, the gap in the disengaging mechanism is less than nominal gap, the piston of the inlet space is not able to displace at a distance to overlap the opening in the seat of the by-pass valve by this instance. As a result, the valve opens under the action of increased pressure and a portion of the fluid will flow from interpiston space to the additional passageway and the space of the auxiliary cylinder through the valve. In so doing, the distance between the pistons of the working cylinder decreases resulting in (when the clutch engages) restoring the nominal value of the gap in the disengaging mechanism.
