FIELD: transport engineering; automated friction clutches. SUBSTANCE: device has system to transmit driver's orders, control valve unit connected with preliminary pressure drop valve, release pneumatic cylinder and friction unit engagement rate control. The latter has housing, rotor with flyweights, and valve for forced discharge of air from pneumatic cylinder. Friction unit engagement rate control provides also possibility of connection of pneumatic cylinder working space with atmosphere. Rotor is mechanically coupled with part whose rotational frequency changes in direct proportion to change in engine crankshaft speed. Holes are made inn rotor to connect working space of pneumatic cylinder with atmosphere. At least three of these holes are arranged radially and are furnished with outlet valves, each consisting of seat and shutoff. Shutoff are made integral with centrifugal flyweights of rotor and are furnished with tightened up flexible members. Each flexible member has force adjuster.
