FIELD: shipbuilding; design of catamaran and other multi-hulled vessels. SUBSTANCE: each upper transverse beam of each half-bridge of vessel is located at distance from midship section equal to 0.3-0.45 of vessel's length; beam is made in form of closed or U-shaped envelope whose upper sheet is located in plane of deck; height of envelope is equal to 1/10-1/5 of freeboard; all members of this beam are rigidly connected with hulls by means of stiffeners inside them; lower beam is of streamlines continuous or hollow wing-shaped section whose height is equal to 0.015-0.03 of freeboard and is rigidly connected with these hulls by means of stiffeners inside them; each half-bridge is provided with uprights and struts mounted between beams rigidly connected with them; they have profile of streamlines section and form truss frame together with beams and hulls.
