FIELD: ship building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ship building, particularly to fest-speed ship hull design. Proposed panel consists of plating and stiffness ribs. Panel smooth side has, on the side of stiffness ribs, planning steps with the following sizes, i.e. h=(0.5 to 2)t, l=(8 to 12)t, where t is the panel plating thickness. Note that planning step start is located at the distance of 2/3l from stiffness rib wall towards bow.

EFFECT: improved hydrodynamic characteristics, better ship hull "adhesion" to water in changing to planning.
