FIELD: production of scandium concentrates from various production wastes. SUBSTANCE: scandium is extracted from acid solutions by sorption. Sorbent is washed, and scandium desorption is effected by carbonate-containing solution to obtain eluate which is treated with mineral acid up to pH within 1.0. Alkali reagent is introduced to have pH 1.8-2.2. Obtained oxyhydroxide precipitant is separated from solution by filtering. Low- soluble scandium compounds are precipitated from filtrate. Precipitant is separated by filtering, washed, dried and calcined. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 5 tbl
