FIELD: electrical engineering, instrumentation, radio electronics, mechanical engineering, medicine. SUBSTANCE: alloy includes rare-earth elements, boron and one of elements of group 1A, scandium and fluorine. Proportion of light and heavy rare-earth elements lies within limits from 3 up to 8. Alloy contains components with following proportion per cent by mass: light rare-earth elements 20.0-25.0; heavy rare-earth elements 3.0-6.0; elements of group 1A barium, aluminium, gallium 1.0-5.0; scandium 0.1-3.0; boron 0.1-1.0; fluorine 0.1-0.6; iron being the balance. EFFECT: improved magnetic and experimental characteristics of permanent magnets. 3 cl, 3 tbl
