FIELD: separation of solutions. SUBSTANCE: method involves supplying basic solution onto membrane; concentrating impermeating component under pressure difference; discharging concentrated solution and providing periodical cleaning of membrane by flexible members combined with supplying of pulses of basic solution flow so that pulse flow motion speed in reverse direction is within the range of 0.3-1.0 of motion time in forward direction, with basic solution motion speed in forward direction in the process of cleaning membrane being 0.02-0.10 of flow speed during concentration. In the process of membrane cleaning filtrate pressure is preferably in excess of concentrate pressure by 0.002-0.010 MPa. Apparatus has porous tubular carcass with semipermeable membrane positioned on its inner surface and turbulizer mounted for reciprocation and made in the form of flexible flat impellers rigidly fixed on flexible tie-rod, whose one end is rigidly secured at the side of basic solution inlet and other end is free. Diameter of each flat impeller is preferably 0.95-1.05 of tubular carcass inner diameter and distance between impellers is 10-20 diameters of carcass.
