FIELD: filtering. SUBSTANCE: unit has an assemble of diaphragm members. Each member consists of two flat semi-permeable diaphragms and drain layer interposed between them, separating plates with longitudinal ribs and bearing projections arranged in the zone of filter-discharging passages provided with sealing spacers made of flexible material, and bottom and top bearing plates interconnected through hollow couplers positioned at the passage axes. The diaphragms and insert are sealed over periphery. The longitudinal ribs of the separating plate are rounded in the zone of the filter-discharging passages to provide the same width between longitudinal ribs. The bearing projections are cylindrical and mounted coaxially to the filter- discharging passages. Each diaphragm member is provided with a spacer interposed between the semi-permeable diaphragm and drain layer and mounted coaxially to the bearing projections. The diameter of the spacer is equal to 0.8-1.2 of the diameter of the bearing projection. EFFECT: improved filtering. 2 cl, 3 dwg
