FIELD: membrane engineering; applicable in processes of fluids purification by methods of microfiltration and ultrafiltration with use of tubular filter members in systems of water supply, food, microbiological and medical industries. SUBSTANCE: method consists in filtering of purified fluid through membrane and its subsequent regeneration by means of flexible members installed for reciprocation. Purified fluid is introduced into device tangentially. Flexible members in the form of rings are moved automatically at attaining of preset value of pressure drop across membrane corresponding to reduction by 20-25% of its permeability. Device for method embodiment has a cylindrical casing with pipe for intake of purified fluid located tangentially to casing element and outlet pipes, tubular membrane module with external semipermeable membrane installed in a spaced relation to casing internal walls. Casing lower end is made conical. Tubular membrane module has flexible circular members installed for reciprocation at attaining of preset value of pressure drop across membrane. EFFECT: higher productivity of filtration due to regeneration of membrane filtering properties, simple design and operation of device in membrane replacement. 7 cl, 3 dwg
