FIELD: casting manufacture. SUBSTANCE: carbamidofuran binder is synthesized by two-stage condensation of carbamide, formaldehyde and furfuryl alcohol. At the first stage condensation of carbamide and formaldehyde is carried out firstly in alkaline and then in acid medium; at the second stage of condensation tetrahydrofuran is added together with furfuryl alcohol at concentration 1.5-3.0 wt.-% of furfuryl alcohol level. EFFECT: decreased hygroscopicity of rods and forms, prevention of their weakening at increased relative air humidity. 2 tbl
