FIELD: treatment of wood. SUBSTANCE: a water-dilutable composition comprises 0.11-0.12 part 50% aqueous polyvinyl acetate dispersion; 0.1-0.15 g starch; 0.008-0.01 g dibutyl phthalate or dibutyl sebacinate and 1.29-1.31 g water. The starch is diluted with water. Water heated to the boiling points, while stirring, is added to the resulting suspension. A preplasticized polyvinyl acetate dispersion is added to the starch cluster. The properties of the composition are as follows: the drying time is 12 hours, non-toxic is adequate.
