FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: from an aqueous solution of rare-earth metals the part of extract is removed followed by its countercurrent extraction for three stages: at ratio O:B= (1-3):1 at the first stage; O:B (3-5): 1 at the second stage and removal of part of organic solution and its feeding to the main cycle, and ratio O:B (5-10):1 at the third stage. EFFECT: improved method of extraction.
