DRILLING MUD DESANDER Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: well drilling. SUBSTANCE: drilling mud desander has body on vibrating supports, inlets and outlets, filtering unit, vibration exciter, rocker, pistons and bottom plate with discharging unit. Besides, drilling mud desander is provided with movable disks installed one above another. Installed in similar manner are fixed disks located horizontally in planes of movable disks. Filtering unit is made in form of cylinders with coarse filtering gauze. Cylinders are kinematically connected with rocker. Installed round the cylinders are fixed fine filtering casettes which separate movable disks from fixed ones. Discharging unit is made in form of branch pipes with spring-loaded gates. Branch pipes are located under cylinders. Pistons are disposed in cylinders. Gate has lever which is square to gate. Spring is cylindrical whose one end is articulated in channel of discharging unit in plane square to its axis. Level is engageable with free end of spring.
