FIELD: vacuum pump engineering. SUBSTANCE: adsorbent is mounted inside the flat shell. The side and periphery walls of the shell is made of a highly heat- conductive porous material. The member is provided with a baffle made up as a plate made of a highly heat- conductive material and interposed between the layers of the adsorbent parallel to the side walls of the shell, the plate being in a heat contact with its periphery walls.
