FIELD: biological chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method of preparing α2-macroglobulin from the biological raw is based on the zinc-chelate chromatography method. Novel aspects in method: direct protein extraction from blood plasma using zinc derivative of agarose iminoacetate with additional gel-chromatography on column with 6% cross-linked agarose followed by lyophilization. EFFECT: simplified method, enhanced purity and immunogenicity.
