METHOD OF PREPARING HUMAN C-INACTIVATING AGENT Russian patent published in 1996 - IPC

FIELD: medicinal industry, immunochemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparing high-purified C₁-inactivating agent used as antigenic material. Spirituous precipitate 10-1 obtained by blood fractionation is precipitated with 16% polyethylene glycol (molecular mass is 6000). C₁-inactivating agent is isolated from obtained supernatant by methods of ion-exchange chromatography on DEAE-Sephadex and affinity chromatography on heparin-Sepharose. Proposed method of preparing highly purified human C₁-inactivating agent from precipitate 10-1 is used in applied immunochemistry. Proposed method of human C₁-inactivating agent isolation shows advantage as compared with that of prototype. Obtained glycoprotein is immunochemically pure antigenic material. EFFECT: simplified method, decreased cost, enhanced purity.
