FIELD: forest industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus, using a module in the form of tubular reaction chambers filled with ferromagnetic particles and connected with a collection chamber, is provided at least with one similar module aligned with the first one; the outlet ends of reaction chambers in each module are positioned tangentially to the wall of its collection chamber, each module is enclosed in a casing, and the collection chambers of all modules are interconnected forming a single duct. The apparatus is provided with an additional chamber in the form of a hollow cone, and the other-to the collection chamber and drain pipe. The cylinder height is 2 to 4 times larger than its diameter, the cone angle equals 20 deg. and the drain pipe diameter makes up 0.2 to 0.4 cylinder diameter. Each module is furnished with an annular distributing manifold. EFFECT: enhanced capacity and efficiency of phase separation. 4 cl, 3 dwg
