FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: pressing unit has housing, open container, cover, pressure vessel and power hydraulic cylinder with stem. Prior to part forming, pressure is supplied to hydraulic cylinders-jacks 16, then working fluid pressure in pressure vessel is increased and part is formed by power hydraulic cylinders 5 and 6. Hydraulic cylinder 15 facilitates discharge of dumb-bells 9 from slots of holding base. Hydraulic cylinder 11 lifts cover to provide removal of ready part from pressure vessel and charging of subsequent part billet into stamping apparatus. EFFECT: simplified construction by minimized base height, simplified and improved maintenance by quick lifting of cover and feeding part billet into pressure vessel, increased service life by eliminating friction between pressure vessel body and power hydraulic cylinder. 2 cl, 1 dwg
