FIELD: machine engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has the hollow housing 6 with the spindle 15 of the article 18, mounted on the table 2 of machine tool; an indexing mechanism, being in the form of the ratchet wheel 17; the handle 15 with a latch for moving the spindle 15. The sleeve 14 with guiding pins 16 is mounted on the spindle 15; the pins engage with a helical groove on an outer surface of the spindle 15. The carriage 4 is provided by the cone contour follower 11, mounted on the axle 10, by a probe, engaging with the cone contour follower 11 and being in the form of a disc, secured to the spindle 15. The handle for moving the spindle 15 is in the form of two mutually connected by an articulation joint levers. One of these levers supports the latch and the other is joined with the spindle 15 with the aid of the bearing unit 21. EFFECT: enhanced structure of the apparatus. 1 cl, 3 dwg
