FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, working of small profiled parts on knurling rollers, conical, cylindrical and spherical gear teeth positioned at an angle to axis. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has fixed tool head with tool 1, movable table, mandrel for part to be worked with indexing mechanism. Mandrel is mounted on spindles 7 for rotation relative to table. Mandrel has shaft with two rectangular channels, shaft drive formed as handle 37, support with former positioned within it and former feeler mounted on shaft end. Rotary indexing head with disk is positioned at left side of shaft on its end. Disk is formed as toothed ratchet wheel, with number of teeth being multiple of number of flutes on part 24 to be worked. Indexing mechanism is formed as disk indexed for angle of rotation of spindle mounted on shaft end. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
