FIELD: welding technique. SUBSTANCE: power source includes a single-phase transformer with two secondary windings, a rectifier and a capacitor, connected between a first output of the first secondary winding and a first input terminal of the rectifier. A second input terminal of the rectifier is connected with a second output of the first secondary winding. The rectifier of the power source has a three-phase bridge circuit, and its third input terminal is connected with a first output of the second secondary winding, whose second output is connected with a second output of the first secondary winding. The first and the second secondary windings are connected mutually opposite. EFFECT: enlarged using range of the power source. 1 cl, 1 dwg
