FIELD: microelectronics. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for pressure welding includes the welding head 3, the control unit 17, the pickup 8 of a welding load, the mechanism 7 for vertical motions, the phase switching unit 16, the step drive unit 2 and the analog-to-digital converter 15, three circuits of zero-level balancing 10, 11, 18, the detecting amplifier 9, the delay line 13, the inverters 21, 22, the switches 19, 20, the variable gain amplifier 12. A starting signal had been fed to the control unit 17, a tract of measuring a welding load is being connected to the analog-to-digital converter 15, and according to a conversion readiness signal an output code of the analog-to-digital converter 15 is being read for comparing a current value of a digital code with a code, had been written to a memory of the control unit 17 and corresponding to an optimal load of parts, being welded. Upon touching of parts, being welded, by a wire, the load pickup senses a welding load at descending the mechanism 7 for vertical motions, and, when the welding load achieves its optimal value, the control unit 17 interrupts operation of the phase switching unit 16, and the step drive unit 2 de-energizes over a time period for forming a welded joint. At this period the control unit 17 connects the tract of measuring deformation of the wire to the analog-to-digital converter 15 and compares a current value of the digital code from the output of the converter 15 with codes, had been written to the memory of the control unit 17 and corresponding to maximum and minimum deformation values of the wire. The welding process had been over, the control unit 17 applies a signal to the phase switching unit 16 for returning the welding head 3 to its initial condition.
