FIELD: hot molding of shaped articles. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming helical projections on the surface of an integral or sectional blank of a thermoplastic material by heating said blank throughout its volume in a local zone with rotation of one end of the blank relative to the other and with continuous movement of local heating zone along the blank axis, and molding a head on one end of the article. EFFECT: shaped articles can be widely used for decorating the interiors of hotels, halls and offices, making luminaries and as fastening fixtures in premises under the effect of aggressive media and electromagnetic radiation. 3 cl, 3 dwg
