FIELD: earth-moving machinery. SUBSTANCE: device has framed housing 1 mounted on base vehicle. Housing accommodates scraper conveyor with members 2,3,4,5. Conveyor is covered from front side by bottom plate 5. Framed housing has front and rear guides 14 engaging with rollers 13 of cutting carriage 8 moving along frame 1. Cutting carriage carries cutting member with radial arms 9 furnished with cutters whose peripheral parts are located on flat ovals displaced in cutters whose peripheral parts are located on flat overlapping of working central face zone. Drive arms 9 are located in plane parallel to bottom frame plate and are connected with drive shafts 10 perpendicular to drive arms, shafts being connected with mechanical opposite rotation synchronizer installed in rear portion of frame 1 and with shaft of engine 11. Frame of cutting carriage 8 is connected with frame 1 by means of hydraulic rams 7 providing vertical travel of carriage rotated by engine 11. As a result device has two independent feeds - conventional, from base vehicle and additional, from hydraulic rams 7. EFFECT: simplified design of device, reduced metal usage, enlarged operating capabilities. 3 dwg
