PLOW DITCHER Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: irrigation and land reclamation. SUBSTANCE: ditcher is coupled through frame with traction unit which, moving, makes body penetrate through operating digging depth. Shares undercut soil slice which is then directed to left-hand and right-hand parts of body and moves along them until it gets out to ditch surface. Vertical components of cutting forces are taken by body and are transmitted through arm to roller support pressing the latter to ditch bottom. So, with ditcher moving, positive rotation of left-hand and right-hand rollers installed on body is provided owing to friction between rollers of roller support and soil of ditch bottom. Right-hand and left-hand rollers are coupled by rigid kinematic coupling by means of bevel and spur trains and intermediate shaft. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 2 dwg
