SUBSTANCE: machine has frame 1 mounted on carrier wheels 2,3, digging share 4 with inclined lifters 5, driven extracting tool made in the form of rotor 6 with detents 7 and driven separator 7,8 made in the form of rotor with horizontal axis of rotation. Separator 7,8 is positioned behind extracting tool. Inclined lifters 5 on share 4, detents 7 on rotor 6 of extracting tool and separator are positioned at equal pitch. Detents 7,79 on rotor 6,78 of extracting tool and separator 7,8 are spaced from ends by value equal to 1/3 of mentioned pitch, and detents 7,79 on adjacent rotors - by value equal to 2/3 of mentioned pitch. Machine of such construction allows damage to licorice root mass to be reduced and licorice raw material to be completely extracted from root layer of soil.
