FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has a capped scaled measuring feeler. The cap has holes for stem joined with strip. Perforated rest of the stem is mounted on wick detecting the soil moisture. By means of slot with seat signaling post with flag is in engagement with bracket and strip of stem. The horizontal part of bracket and strip are free to move in slots provided in post and supports. When operating in the watering start signal mode, strip is placed in seat of post, and bracket is placed in the slot in post. The settings are vice versa when operating in the watering finish signal mode. EFFECT: higher efficiency; convenience in operation. 3 dwg
