FIELD: agriculture; livestock farming. SUBSTANCE: method involves fattening super- replacement gilts (age 3-4 months) after their separation from young castrated boars in stalls for 15-25 gilts. One boar of the same age group is introduced (deliberately, the boar is not castrated during first weeks of his life). When removing from fattening, some gilts (one third of the number of best gilts inseminated by the boars) are moved into the farrowing department, and all others (including young castrated boars) are shipped to a meat packing plant. The boars that served the gilts are castrated and slaughtered (30 days after the date of castration to prevent unpleasant odor of pork). After farrowing, all the saws and offspring are fattened for slaughter. No further reproduction is permitted. EFFECT: enhanced performance. 2 cl, 1 tbl
