FIELD: hydrometallurgy. SUBSTANCE: extracted from chloride or sulfate-chloride solutions containing bismuth, indium or zinc are metals by means of respective extracting agents. After separation from aqueous phases, the organic phases are reextracted with solution containing 40-70% of carbonate and 5-10% of bicarbonate of alkali metal in form of potassium, sodium or rubidium. Obtained by reextraction with the solvent of the offered composition are aqueous phases from which precipitants are not precipitated for a long period of time. EFFECT: simplified method for extraction of any metal salts directly from carbonate reextracts due to reduced number of process stages. 1 tbl
