APPARATUS FOR WATER STIRRING AND OXYGEN SATURATING IN WATER RESERVOIR Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: apparatus is used in different assignment reservoirs to improve quality of water in stagnant zones with low speed water floating and shortage of oxygen absorption of water. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has wind wheel with vertical pipe mounted on pontoon on axis of its rotation. Lower end of pipe is dipped in deep water layers of reservoir. Inner cavity of pipe water inlet part has varying cross-section with narrowing on part of crest and outlet hole of water discharging part of pipe is located below water surface level of reservoir. Gate of water discharging part of pipe in zone of minimum cross-section, that is located above reservoir water surface level, is provided with canal-forming members, that are linked by its cavity with air medium. Besides water discharging part of pipe, as a version, is made in cross-section part in the form of disk and its floating part is provided with stream forming radial guiding partitions, dividing it for separate areas.
