FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: method of gas-phase polymerization of alpha-olefins in a fluidized- bed reaction vessel where gas mixture escapes from the upper part of the vessel and returns into its lower part positioned below said fluidized bed by means of a recirculation pipe which connects the upper part of the reaction vessel with its lower part positioned below the fluidized bed, the solid catalytic component, cocatalyst, activator and activity inhibitor are introduced continuously or intermittently into the reaction vessel together with the carrier gas through a supply pipe whose outlet hole is disposed at, or somewhat higher than, the upper surface of the fluidized bed and is directed towards the center of the vessel cross section.
