FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: in method of liquid injection directly into fluidized layer mixture consisting of gas and liquid is delivered to fluidized layer from mixing chamber through outlet hole of two- component injector. Liquid flow rate through every outlet hole makes up from 0.009 to 0.130 cu.m/h/sq.mm and is determined from equation. In this case, differential pressure in mixing chamber is from 0.8 to 1.5 bar. Liquid injector has inlet for liquid being under pressure, one inlet for spraying gas, mixing chamber for mixing of liquid and gas, and outlet hole positioned along circumference around injector through which mixture consisting of gas and liquid is delivered from mixing chamber to fluidized layer. Outlet hole is made as slot with area of 300-600 sq.mm. Injector configuration makes it possible to improve distribution of sprayed liquid in layer. Injector may be used in process of continuous polymerization of olefins in reactor with fluidized layer. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 6 cl, 1 dwg
