FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: shock absorber has elastomer flexible member in which bush having central hole is located, holder for securing the shock absorber to base which is connected with elastic flexible member in center portion and hold-down washers mounted at bush ends; elastomer flexible member is arranged between these washers. Elastomer flexible member consists of two parts; outer surface of each part is formed by cylindrical surface which changes to torus surface on one side and to taper surface on other side; vertex of cone of this surface is opposite to part of torus surface; taper surfaces of each part of elastomer flexible member is provided with cylindrical recesses evenly distributed over taper surface; axes of these recesses are located radially relative to axis of shock absorber; made in center of each part of elastomer flexible member on side of taper surface is bore in form of torus surface; holder is provided with circular flanges which are located coaxially on both its sides; their inner surfaces are provided with taper cuts diverging to flange ends; elastic flexible members adjoin inner surface of holder.
