FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering. Shock absorber contains elastomeric elements located in the shock absorber body on its axis. Elastomeric elements are made in the form of a combination of two elements, located one on each side of the shock absorber axis. External surface of each elastomeric element is formed by a cylindrical surface, passing on the external elastomeric element on one side, facing the inside of the shock absorber, into a part of the torus surface. Vertex of the cone is made directed opposite to the part of the torus surface. Internal seat diameter of the shock absorber body is smaller than external diameter of the inner cup-shaped element of the combination assembly. External diameter of the external element of the combination assembly is greater than the internal seat diameter of the internal elastomeric element.
EFFECT: absence of resonant frequencies in any position with respect to the static load in both the longitudinal and transverse directions is ensured.
