FIELD: electrochemical sources of energy. SUBSTANCE: active material of heterpolar electrodes is applied on to current taps, is dried, formed and heterpolar electrodes are separated by separators, are assembled into units and placed into case. Electrolyte is poured and cell is charged. Manufacturing process involves mixing of 50.0-99.0 per cent by mass of agidol and of 1.0-50.0 per cent by mass of bisulcofane in mixer at rotational speed 30-100 r. p.m. for the course of 5-30 s. When cell reaches charging degree equal to 35-70 per cent of charge of semi-unit of 0.02- 0.4 per cent by mass of mass of poured electrolyte is injected. Cell is cured for not less than 10 h and charging is continued. EFFECT: prolonged service life and improved electric and operational characteristics of cells. 2 cl, 1 tbl
