FIELD: electrical engineering, in particular, repair of functional capabilities of used stationary lead storage batteries. SUBSTANCE: method involves simultaneous production of aniline structure current-conducting polymer and active material. Goal of invention is achieved by preliminary preparation of electrode surface by means of their keeping for 1-2 hours in working electrolyte in presence of magnesium-containing compound with concentration of magnesium ions within range of 0.04-0.4 % with respect to weight of pure metal. Then, method for simultaneous production of aniline structure current-conducting polymer and active material runs upon working electrolyte concentration of sulfuric aniline within range of 0.05-0.15 % in terms of weight.
