The electrolyte for improving the electrical characteristics of lead-acid batteries contains an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid and aniline or aniline salt with an inorganic acid with a concentration of 0.001 to 5.0 wt. % and semidine or salt of semidine and inorganic acid at a concentration of 0.001 to 1 wt. %.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the environmental friendliness of the process of manufacturing the electrodes of lead-acid batteries of all types in real conditions of their operation, reducing the cost of the manufacturing process of electrodes, increasing their service life and increasing their efficiency.
