CIRCULAR TRACTION DEVICE FOR CULTIVATION OF SOIL Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering; farm mechanization devices. SUBSTANCE: circular traction device has working truck with cultivation equipment mounted on radial truss made in form of hinge-coupled sections, inner section 2 being coupled with central support, self-centering wheels 5,9,11,12, and outer section 1 with power unit with driving wheels 6 and working truck drive with chain transmission. Novelty in design of circular traction device is that it has intermediate member 13 coupled through vertical joint 14 with shaft 15 and coupled with central support 21 by means of sprocket 16 and single-joint transmission 18 with splined joint 20. Working truck is arranged on outer section 1 and inner section 2 and intermediate sections 3,4 are made for movement relative to each other with support through rollers 8 and 10 and locking in extreme positions. Moreover, inner section 2 is coupled with intermediate member 13 for longitudinal motion and locking in extreme positions. Mounted on ends of inner section are sprockets connected by chain transmission for relative engagement and engagement with fixed sprocket 16. Carrier is connected with working truck by chain. Self-centering wheels 5 and steering wheels 6 are located over diagonal of section 1. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 5 cl, 6 dwg
