SUBSTANCE: forging press for reducing width of rolled pieces is provided by a system for forced feeding of grease between mutually rubbing surfaces of a thrust bearing, providing an articulation joint of the head 15 of the connecting rod 14 with a slide. At least along a length of contact of the above mentioned surface the connecting rod has passages 20 for feeding grease. The thrust bearing includes a the half of rim 18, secured to the head 15 and having on its surface, turned to the slide, the oil pockets 19, being adjacent with the passages 20 for grease. Such structure provides effective and reliable lubrication of necessary surfaces. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of rolled stock reduction by its width. 8 cl, 3 dwg
