FIELD: chemical engineering. SUBSTANCE: polishing is accomplished by a tool carrying several polishing rolls, each of them is fixed in the spindle and the latter is radially placed in the drive. The polishing rolls are mounted for rotating around the spindle axes and around the axis located perpendicularly relative to the spindle ones. The polishing rolls are given the additional reciprocal displacement parallel to the plane of the article shifting. In this case the speed of the stated shifting is changed during the displacement of the polishing rolls. EFFECT: enhanced quality. 6 cl, 3 dwg
