FIELD: winding of tubes made of metal-containing polymer. SUBSTANCE: device has guide in form of levers forming inlet slot with cutting members, two winding drums with grips arranged symmetrically relative to slot, and spreading head installed for reciprocating. Levers are hinge-coupled to each other. One lever is installed for limited travel and engagement with limit switch by means of its free end. Limit switch is kinematically coupled with turning drive of other lever. The latter is arranged in plane passing through tangent line to outer surface of winding drum. Inlet slot is made V-shaped.
