FIELD: rolled stock production. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of hot rolling, rapid cooling up to a predetermined temperature, air curing over(0.2-0.3)s, coiling with simultaneous cooling of each turn by an water-air mixture to a temperature, being lower, than a temperature of eutectoid conversion, over a period, equal to (3-6)s; sustaining a ratio of water to air in the mixture being in a range (0.015-0.04)D, where D a diameter of a rolled piece (mm), and air cooling. EFFECT: increased strength of rolled wire. 1 cl, 2 dwg
