FIELD: high-temperature superconductors. SUBSTANCE: method for producing synthesized high-temperature superconductor of formula Tl1,85Ba2Ca0,02Cu1,15O6 in air involves melting a charge containing Tl2O3, CaO, BaO2 and CuO in a relation of 1:1:2:2, heating the melt to 980-990 C followed by cooling at a constant rate of 1-3 C/h down to 680-660 C and retrieving the crucible from the furnace. The method permits growing monocrystals 3x2x0.2 mm in size. The compound Tl1,85Ba2Ca0,02Cu1,15O6 is noted for a high critical temperature of transition into superconducting state (110 K) and for stability of composition with respect to cations.
