FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: silencer has supplying and discharging branch pipes and resonance chamber. The chamber has neck and housing defining the resonance space wherein a panel is mounted. The housing and panel is made of a flexible material. The panel is made up as a perforated ring enclosing the neck. The perforation holes of the ring are arranged in the plane of the neck. The diameter of the perforation holes does not exceed the minimum of the neck width. The silencer can be provided with an additional ring mounted on the outer side of the flexible housing for permitting arresting of the housing movement in radial direction. The neck is provided with fastening units combined with the flexible housing and enclosing the supplying and discharging branch pipes from the outer and inner sides.
