FIELD: acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the noise suppression equipment. Muffler comprises a cylindrical body rigidly connected to the end inlet and outlet nozzles rigidly connected to central baffles having perforations, the body is made in the form of a glass having in the bottom an inlet branch pipe, and the central partitions are made in the form of a stack of disks, and at the outermost disks the holes are formed in the peripheral part, and in the central part of the package – in the center, and disks package attachment is made by means of at least two rods, one end of which is connected to the inlet pipe, and the other with an outlet fitting connected with housing opposite end surface, and between the discs in the package there are rings connected in the peripheral part with the rods, in the end part of the outlet branch, on the inner side of the central partitions, there is a sound-absorbing element that contains a smooth and perforated surface between which a multi-layer sound absorbing structure is arranged.
EFFECT: increased effectiveness of noise attenuation due to the elimination of the "radiation effect" and the penetration of sound waves both along silencer axis and through its two walls by introducing of sound-absorbing elements on sound waves propagation path.
